piercings closing

Has anyone had a problem with piercings closing while they are pregnant?   I have had my ears pierced since i was in the 1st grade and this morning i pretty much had to pierce them again!  I dont wear earings often but I've never had to do that before.

if you poke a new hole i would suggest you keep wearing the earing until it has at least stopped hurting and isn't red. you dont want to keep introducing new germs to the area, you could create an infection. best if you use sleeper earings and spin them every few times a day. if you do have crusts be sure not to push the crust parts through your ear cause that will just rip things up and have to heal all over again. if you have a post in spinning it is good too. be safe

I have 17 piercings. Most of them i have gotten within the last 5 years, and i have had no problems with any of them! of course, i rarely take any of them out. you have to remember that every body is different and responds to each pregnancy differently... I would just keep poking something through the holes a couple times a day if you aren't wearing earrings all the time

i've had my ears done since i was 12 and they often close up on me at the back.
remember that piercings are wounds, no matter how long you've had them. and your body will always try to heal itself.
