Normal?

Hi all. I am 14w4d pregnant and for the last week I have had stomach/tummy aches especially after eating. I am wondering whether anyone else has this too? Is it common or normal for that matter? Everyday especially after lunch I get them for hours on end...

No i have not been constipated at all throughout pregnancy... i did wonder if indigestion but everytime after I eat? Ill try tums and see if it helps. i know its not Gallstones as I had an u/s 4 weeks before I was pregnant for something else and they checked my Gallbladder in a routine check. they did say I have a Polyp on my Gallbladder and ita nothing to worry about, but thats it. I do only have one kidney and I also have a Hernia so I am leaning towards that maybe? The Hernia did cause me discomfort before I was pregnant but not like this.... hernia caused indigestion... this is different. Will try tums-if not, then off to doc I go! Thanks x

I was going to mention indigestion too. Or are you a little constipated?

Is it only around your tummy or is it all through your upper abdomen?  I always feel like I have a tummy ache but twice in the past 2 weeks it has turned into excrutiating pain that lasts about an hour and is all through my abdomen.  I chalked it up to gas the first time but I talked to my mom after the second and she said it sounded like her gall bladder attacks so now I will have an u/s to check for gallstones.

It could be a bunch of different things, as simple as gas or indigestion.  Have you tried tums after eating to see i they help? Your Dr. could tell you other meds that are safe for you to try to rule that out as well if tums don't help.
