Question for whos had there babies
Okay she keeps chokeing on this mucus stuff the doc at the l and d said it will stop but it hasnt and I cant sleep cuz im afraid she will choke and I wont hear her cuz I have to suck it out with the bulb sucker thibg. And they said it was in her tummy and nit her lungs so thats good and she started to poop it out now
Yeah monday morn I woke up at 8am and slept a whole 5 hours from then to thursday!! Byt hubby let me sleep alot yesterday so I made up for it but now she has this runny pooo and it git on her cord so I had heck getting that off!!
My daughter had this because she came so fast and there wasn't enough time for her to be suctioned by my pushing.
Her first day it was horrible. Lots of gagging. One point at the hospital she turned BLUE! I freaked but the nurse was right there when it happened.
What I did was put my arm flat out and have her belly down on it with her head low and pat her back. It came out. I had to do that the next night for her as well and a whole blob of mucus came out. It was crazy the amount. After that she hasn't really done it again. She would still choke a bit on the colostrum but once my milk came in she was ok.
It's terrifying!!
