Ugh vent! It never ends!

I am completely fed up with my inlaws! I just want to move far far far away and never see them again.
For starters my sister in law is annoying. She has a 6yr old and 11 year old, both boys. She works midnights and wants someone to babysit ONLY the 6 year old every other saturday and sunday for 9 hours each day but is only wanting to pay them $10 a day, she asked me what people were charging for babysitting and i told her most people around here get paid on average $5 an hour and she said that that was crazy and dumb to pay someone so much to watch a 6 year old. Now she only wants someone to babysit the 6yr old, not the 11yr old but the 11yr old will be home those days and anyone with common sense knows that siblings fight, and in reality theres no way someone could come in and JUST watch the 6 year old, theyd end up watching BOTH children, and she wont admit that. She is wanting someone to basically babysit a 6yr old for nothing. And she is a nurse and her husband is a corrections officer so they make good money.
Now my mother in law is always friking driving me insane. She is so negative. My car is not in the best of health, its on its last leg and i cant afford to get a new one til tax time. My mother in law knows this. She will constantly tell me and my fiance that we need to come visit (she lives 45min away) and then when we do she tells us that we need to stop driving our car so much because our car isnt working good. She knows we cant afford the gas to come up there all the time and she still complains that we need to come up and then complains because our car *****. Then when we are up there she will yell at my fiance calling him a deadbeat because he only makes minimum wage and when he tries to tell her that he is trying to better himself and get a education she calls his ideas and dreams stupid. Ugh i just want to move to antartica and leave my in laws behind..
By the way my son will be 4 months on the 12th
Thanks for the rant.

Sooo i totally agree with you about the babysitting part... thats not enough money at all! lol I hear ya about the in laws, i have had my share of frustration with mine overstepping but for the first time im actually getting along with them 100%?? i didnt even notice lol but i guess its possible lol

My little one gonna be 4 months on the 12th as well! and she has been killing me lately... every 2 hours on the dot she is eatting at night! brutat! shes been doing this for over a week now... i keep saying someone needs to tell her she isnt a newborn anymore and sleep is allowed! she is a little chunk and is gaining and growing well so she CAN sleep lol

We have tried the "come see us or give us gas money" thing and she always says that she is broke and doesnt feel like coming to see us since we are so far away. But she makes $17/hr and her husband makes $20/hr, so i know she has the money.

Aww I am sorry. I am a bit frustrated with my husbands step mom. I dont have the greatest milk supply and so my daughter is growing slowly.. She is growing just not at the rate she should be. She is in the 4% for her weight to height ratio. She just now it 10lbs and is 3 months old.... Well my mother in law tells me all the time how she breastfed her kids til they were 4 1/2 and that she had milk for 8 years!! Well thank you but I dont want to be expressing milk that long and I am sure by the time my daughter is 1 will not be breastfeeding her... Maybe feed until she is 1 but IDK yet.. Anyways because she is growing slowly my MIL is always telling me I just need to feed her every hour and that even if she is asleep wake her up and feed her.. Well sorry I am not going to wake her up to feed her if she isnt hungry. You cant force a baby to eat. She isnt loosing weight so I am not concerned. I just throw the "her dr and I are in good communication about it and she is under his care and he is aware of what is going on" line at her when she brings it up. But I know what you mean it can get really frustrating. Maybe she isnt aware of what she is doing. I know that seems silly to say but I think sometimes people dont think thru what they are saying. Next time she says she wants you to come visit ask her for gas money or tell her she should come to your house since your car isnt working properly. She can sacrifice as well I am sure to come see the baby. Hope things get better once you get a new car.
