early signs of labor?

Not sure if i am starting labor and i really don't remember what it was like during my first cuz that was almost 6 yrs ago.  My lower to middle back feels like it has knives in it.  I threw up early and still feel really nauseous.   The past couple days i have had a lot of really soft bm even some diarrhea. I am having some contractions but not consistent yet.  Any ideas?

I had horrible back labour with my first as well and I don't think I can ever forget that pain. Now I'm nervous because I'm not sure if I'll notice regular contractions if I get them. I think I will when the time comes but I dunno.
Mine were fairly easy to time when I had them. My back would squeeze up first wrapping all the way around my belly.

I do remember having horrible back labor with my first. Was really hoping not to go through that again!

Sound like back labor but could alwAys be something els. look up back labor for details. also back labor is sometimes irregular so they may be hate to time.
