have you bought anything for baby?

my husband wont let me buy even a sleeper or a little toy until I am more pregnant... I just want to have something on a shelf to look at, but I understand his reasoning.
We have a ton of baby equipment that was handed down to us, so we have stuff... but nothing from me.

I have bought different baby stuff... online deals and such... i figure if i cant use it, its easy enough to use the items as gifts... i have some cute toys, some clothes, baby blankets, stuffed animals... paci holders... lol im adicted to this online website that twice a day has a different baby item on sale... lots of brand name items but you have to watch what the deal is... eventually they do start repeating so if i missed a sale it usually comes back! lol Its american so i really do have to include what shipping would be... but it usually is just under what i would pay here and its mailed to me :)
This is my second so if i have a girl im set! i got so many clothes from my baby shower that some items only got used once or twice... if i have a boy i have a lot of hand me downs from family...
I cant actually remember when i bought anything for my daughter but im sure it was pretty early... i didnt find out what i was having or i think i would have went nuts shopping!! lol

I have to say that it does help that here anyway we have seasonal clothes so you kinda have to wait till summer clothes are out to really start shopping :)

If you are going to invest in anything, a pillow for your feet, new comfy shoes and bump bands are invaluable! :) x

Lol, I'd just put the money away for diapers for the time being or you might end up with too many in one size and might not be able to swap them. That was my mistake with my daughter, too many newborn diapers! Had to give them away in the end. x

i haven't bought anything either. i'm currently 7w1d and i'm soooooo anxious to start shopping!! my best friend, who is a mother of two, suggested i started buying diapers in all different sizes just to keep them stock piled....im thinking about doing so. even though this is my first baby, i have tons of nieces and nephews and friends with baby and know how frequent diaper changing is...lol

Get a little teddy or something like a keepsake but nothing more. I'm 7w2 and this is my second, I didn't start shopping properly with my first until around 24weeks. And trust me, the days drag by so you'll be glad to have something to fill your time. I'm waiting until after the 1st scan, then getting flump a little teddy.

No but I want to really badly.  I'm waiting until we're at least 8 wks (I'm at 6 wks now).  We've had one previous pregnancy that ended in a m/c, so I don't want to jinx anything...lol.
