I set up my I'm expecting early this morning. I'm a FTM :)
And oh yeah I had to buy for mine too despite this being my second child. (the first was a girl) My family doesn't believe in second baby showers, so I won't have one of those, and I gave all my first kids stuff to my adopted sister who couldn't get anything she needed when she became pregnant so I had to start from scratch! I totally feel your pain money wise. Most of my stuff I did through Walmart.com. Its so much cheaper than babies r us for practically the same things! I think I spent around six hundred dollars for a swing, glider, crib, and car seat stroller set. Not bad considering with babies I was looking at over a thousand!
Haha I know how it is with the birthday thing. My boy is due on the 24th, a week after my own birthday!
we didn't my husband thinks it'll jinx us. now I'm ordering things online in the Amazon cart is almost $1500, I hate spending too much but its for my baby boy
Thankfully we still have mine since i was a baby but I have done most my shopping at second hand stores. The clothes are cheap and babies hardly wear them. But we started buying soaps and diapers and wipes before I even got pregnant so we would have a little stock pile.
Lol we well I to be completely honest lol have bought some stuff. Waiting for shower mid june to buy the rest. If really need to start painting the baby room tho. Im exited about doing it but dreading it also. Trying not to think about labor be cuz I know it won't be fun
I'm having a a boy. I'm so nervous about labor I keep dreaming about it lol I have 11 weeks left and me and my husband are just starting to but things. so unprepared lol
Lol. I am due the 25th.. I have 4 july burthdays to miss! Hopefully I can do it. They are all spaced about a week apart. Are you having a boy or girl?
