nerves

Had my 36 week check up today and the dr said my baby is breach and has booked me in for a csection on the 13 of july. Just wondering if there is something i can do to encourage him to turn, dr said due to my tummy been very tight and him been my first turning him manually from outside wasnt really an option. Rather scared to have a csection as it is major surgery and peers keep telling me it will be harder to bond with him and i wont be able to lift him or do much. I just want my boy to be healthy and safe.

That doesn't sound right. I've never had a c section but I thought doctors had to at least try to turn the baby before making a c section final. I watched youtube videos on how they do it and it only takes a few minutes.  I would call your doctor and tell how how u feel and bout it. It's your body and your baby you have every right to that! Good luck girl

Will talk to her again at next app and see if she will try and turn him. Just figured if anyone she know what will or wont work would be the dr. But dont want to have to have a csection if it can be avoided

Hi my baby was breech at 36 weeks, but u still have time for baby to change position, if baby don't they should try to do the ECV n if no success on that then go for csection...XxX

My son was breech til my water broke then he turned. Every pregnancy and baby is different. I had a c section anyways with my first and I bonded with my baby with no issues. I also could hold my baby just fine. I'm scheduled for my second c section July 9th. If you find yourself having issues bonding then it might be postpartum depression, not necessarily from the c section. Good luck mama!!
