My baby has been moving less often throughout the day. Ive heard older babies sleep more, Im 37wks+4. When she does move she's moving alot, but more like twists and stretching than how it used to be kicks. With less room they cant do as many acrobatics lol. But trust your gut too if you havnt felt babies movements when you usually do call your dr or go to hospital to be safe.
I did go to the hosp yesterday baby was ok they thxx ladies for ur input.... They wanted to induce me because I was having some contractions. But my cervix was closed so they sent me home... But eveything is good I
You WON'T be wasting their time going back and getting checked again, is it really worth risking if you have reduced movement? Go and get seen for peace of mind. In the UK now they don't recommend counting kicks as all babies have different patterns of movements and active periods so I would go and get checked.
My dr. told me that I should feel him about 6 times during the hours that I used to feel 10. So yes, less movememt but still some.
Same happened here! My doc said as long as you feel anyt type of movement throughout the day that the baby is okay, just hard for him or her to move around due to the space being at a minimum! I wouldn't worry
I Think it's normal for them to chill before birth, but if you don't reach the recommended kick count I would still call just to be safe. I was worried about my little guy last night and just as I was reasy to call my OB he stared moving around. Try a glass of ice cold water and lay down see if that gets her going. Best of luck!
