Yes, I had brownish discharge on and off for the past 2 weeks. I freaked out the first time i saw it and cried the whole day. Then i went to the doctor and I got a bit more optimistic. My doctor said not to worry unless i also get bad cramping or start bleeding (bright red blood). She also prescribed me some anti-spasmodic pills in case i get cramps and some progesterone to help mentain the pregnancy since we've had so many problems and took us so long getting pregnant. Also, all my friends with babies said they had brown discharge during the first trimester, so it might be common. Can't wait for my next week appointment, hope we'll hear baby's heartbeat and i'll be able to relax a bit.

I've been having it for about a week. My hug levels still rose but I just don't understand why there is blood.

I did. I thought i was further along and had my first doctors appointment today. I got to see my baby's heartbeat and they said everything is fine, even with the blood. Brown blood or cabernet looking blood is ok. If you have a period looking discharge with cramps that's bad.

Yes I'm 6 weeks and had some brown discharge. I guess that's normal. That's what the doctor told me. So try not to worry so much.
