Sciatica is where you have a trapped nerve. It's condition that often does come with pregnancy. Doctors should be familiar with same. Nothing to be alarmed by as far as I know but yes its can be painful and a nuisance

I have lower disc problem and it presses on the nerve that runs up and down the left side of my body. Sounds the same, the chiropractor really helped me out before pregnancy. I'm going to have to go back since it's happening again.

I'm going to be 20 weeks Wednesday and have been experiencing the same thing on my left side. I spoke to my dr about it and she said if it didn't go away she would have to do some research. I thought it was like restless leg or something.
