I'm 27 weeks and I just stopped smoking marijuana (don't be negative and judgemental)I didn't smoke heavy approximately 3 hits of a blunt a week. I know they test your infants first stool. Will my child test positive for thc?

Hi, folks,

The OP was asking for information about drug testing results, rather than opinions about smoking marijuana during pregnancy, which are not permitted in this forum.  Because the discussion got so off-track, we've removed some off-topic comments and will close this thread now.  As always, your best bet is to let your doctor know if you have any questions/concerns.  That way, you'll get an answer that addresses your own unique situation.

It Will Last In Your System About 45Days. Just Do Not Smoke From This Point On && You And Your Little One Will Have Clean Systems By His|Her Birth

Just ask your doctor what do they test your baby for.  Dont just ask about the pot. Then ask how they run the tests.

Itll show in their first stool. But it will NOT show up in their pee. They dont base it off of their first stool because it can test dirty up to six months back in your pregnancy. However if the baby's  pee comes positive for any recreational drugs then i believe they report to child authorities.

Whatever you put in your mouth gets passed to the baby. Ive always heard that drug stays on.your system for 6 months, even if you only did it once. So, im guessing it probably will show up in the baby when the baby is born.

I believe that anything from 20 weeks on will test positive from the baby.

no your child shouldn't, just dont smoke from this point on. Sometimes once you have the child if there are any complications they will run test, possibly a drug test and if it comes back positive they will have to get child care involved.
