How did you do it?

My due date is July 12, and even though I've been in early labor since my 36th week, I've yet to begin active labor. I  have pubic symphysis so the bigger my lil one gets the harder the recovery will be. While the normal recover time (completely) is 6 weeks after, I am told it may be at least 9 weeks for me to recover from my damaged bone. Point being, I am getting induced on the 7th, but I have also done what I can to help her come sooner. She rams her head against my cervix relentlessly, cracking at the bone, and walking causes me a lot of pain but to move things along I'm forcing myself to walk a lot anyways. I am now nauseous a lot and eating less, but also sleeping less the worse the pain gets.
Basically, I'd like to know how you were able to survive your last week. I do what I can to keep busy, but the pain wears me down. Oh, and this is my second child, but I never had these issues before. I don't even know what it will be like once I start going into active labor. So, any tips?
