Is nausea a sign of labor

I am 37 weeks today yesterday I was checked baby has dropped I am 2.5 cm and 60% effaced and I believe I lost my mucus plug. I had my membranes stripped yesterday and today am extremely nauseous could this be a sign of labor? I have been feeling cramps but nothing regular. This is my 3rd but everything about this pregnancy is diffrent any thoughts. Thanks

Yes could be. I've read nausea, flu-like symptoms and diarrhea have been known to be early signs of labor, but like losing your mucus plug, active labor could be hours or days away. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and I agree everything with this pregnancy is different. I'm gonna be 36wks tomorrow and I've been feeling like I'm gonna go into labor for days lol but my last two were premies so it's natural for me to be so paranoid now.
