Labor story!

At 20 weeks and 4 days on Friday morning at 4am, my water broke. I had already used the restroom when I felt like I still needed to go. I went a little bit, but liquid keep coming out. After standing up to wash my hands a small amount of water trickled down my legs. That is when I woke my husband up. My GBS was a negative but my doctor wanted me at the hospital right away because my cervix was really high.

Once we got checked in I was dilated to a barely a finger tip. My cervix was softer, but still really hard and high up. The put a catheter with a balloon to stretch me. Once that was ready to come out I was 4ish cm. It had taken a lot time to get to this point. After being put on Pitocin for a few hours I had stopped dilating at 7. This is when they decided to do a c-section at 11 pm. By 11:31 our baby girl was here.

She was so large at 9lbs 7oz and 21 1/4 in that the doctors said she probably would have never came out vaginally.

Congratulations! I'm thinking that you're more than 20 weeks and 4 days with her being 9 lbs.
