Do not scratch it or you'll get stretch marks. Put neosporin or moisturizers on it and slap it lightly to reduce the urge to itch but do not itch it.

I'm38 wks today.  I have a horrible itchy rash too for about a week now.. My OB told me I can use hydrocortisone creme and benadryl.  The benadryl can make you sleepy so I only take it at night.  25mg. My OB said mine didn't look like the pupp rash but it is so itchy I feel like I want to scratch my skin off!

You def need to let your doctor know. They need to do blood work to test your liver enzymes. I had itchy palms and they made me do blood work for it. Just to be safe, let them know immediately.

I developed the PUPP rash at about 32 weeks. It got so bad I had to take time off of work, it has gotten much better now, I'll be 40 weeks tomorrow and it has been under control for about the last 4 weeks! My dr spoke to a dermatologist who recommended an oil that I used every night, after having a bath. I put the oil on, then used CeraVe moisturizer and took a Claritin. The oil is called Fluocinolone acetonide.
Taking oatmeal baths really helped me, Aveeno makes one that is liquid so you don't have oatmeal in your tub. I also used a soap called Grandpa's Pine Tar soap, smells like a campfire but I think it helped too.
Calamine lotion was also my best friend.
I tried it all haha!
I hope this helps you! It was awful!

PUPPPS (look it up) - my sister in law had it. I am sooo sorry you have to deal with it :( Unfortunately there isn't anything to fix it except giving birth. I have heard that cold compresses and itch cream can result in temporary relief but it is a rash that won't go away until after delivery
