mucus plug/labor question

Hey ladies! I'm 38 wks 2 days and I think I just lost my mucus plug. I'm scheduled for an induction on Sunday night but would love for her to come on her own. I've dealt with INTENSE false labor for about a week and lost my plug today. How soon after losing my mucus plug can I expect to go into labor. No real contractions as of yet (since losing plug). Either way only a few more days!!!

Oh ok. Thanks! Just knowing there is an end in sight is good enough for me. I didn't lose it with my first child so I didn't know

It varies. (I know that isnt the answer you were looking for) but the mucus plug can even reform so though it is a sign baby is coming soon, there is no real time frame for it
