My husband doesn't want to know the gender, but I'm undecided about whether or not I want to know. I'm due July 12th, so I still have a couple weeks to make a decision. Seeing the comments about never being 100% surprised about anything else in life (@julybaby1587) and since this is our 1st but not our last, buying neutral stuff and being surprised (@ToddnErin) sounds even more intriguing!
I want to wait and be surprised. My boyfriend wants to know. I told him that he has to go to that appointment and ask himself.
I am due July 13th and we decided that we are leaving it a suprise too. Especially because it is our first so won't be the last so may as well buy neutral stuff and have a happy surprise on birth day! I think it is so much more fun sharing the news with family and friends about what sex the baby is once its born and its name, otherwise if you know the sex then everybody is already expecting a boy or a girl so the only surprise left is the weight and time. Still exciting but I love surprises!
my friend's brother waited until the baby's birthday to find out what the sex of the baby was. He explained that that's really the only time that you are ever truly 100% surprised in your life.
