Juste a thought: what if you go to the ER? You can tell them that you are pregant and having pelvic pain. They will definitely give you an ultrasound. If you want to know or see the baby badly then do that. It won't hurt anyone really. Hopefully you get to see your bundle of joy!
Why don't you go and get a 3d one? I think that would be cheaper.
Your doctor has to order it and she already asked and he said no.
They have these pregnancy centers in Texas that will give u a free unltrasound. I'm not sure if they tell u the gender or give u pictures. There a free non profit organization that pretty much just helps pregnant women and they'll give u help if u need things for ur baby.
Just looked up the name of the company and its called CareNet they might have one in your area
I don't know what state you live in but I am 23 weeks pregnant and I changed my Dr at 21 weeks bc he was not responsive, for example, I would ask him regard to foods I should eat or not and he could not articulate, I would ask if j was gaining the right amount for the giving weeks also muted on every question I always left his office worried. I called my insurance and they told me I was not in contract with the Dr and change anytime I wish. No need to feel trapped there is always options just call your insurance.
The ER most likely wont let you see the ultrasound.
I totally understand I have had three the dates one I was 7 weeks then the down syndrome One at 13 weeks and growth at 20 and we were not able to see what were having AMD we will not get another unless something is wrong I have actually grown to love the idea of a surprise. Were doing all the bedding neutral (black and white and gray) and after baby comes going for clothes and stuff
Like Michelle said the ER tech probably won't tell u anything. I got lucky one time with this pregnancy and the ultrasound tech in the ER was really nice and told me everything and even let me see the baby the whole time. But that was just once. I've had many ultrasounds in the past with different pregnancies and the ER techs never tells u anything or even lets u see the baby.
Er will prob just check the heart beat and make sure it's normal. My cousin was in a wreck while pregnant and that's all they did for her.. I would recommend a 3d ultra sound. The 3d places also offer 2d which is just a typical ultrasound and is cheaper..
ER is a waste of some very important peoples time, and I really doubt they would reveal the sex except maybe on accident. Also they won't be looking at its crotch they will be looking for vitals.
