Who has cats & changes the litter box?

I have 2 cats i've had for almost 10 years. 19 weeks pregnant. When changing the litter box i wear a mask & wash my hands right after! The litter box is cleaned daily. Any thoughts??

Once in a while I have to also .. doctors will even say as long as you have a mask and do it in a ventilated area your okay.  Ill go out and do it on my porch.

Exactly what i was told. Seems rare to catch it but you can. It is the cats poop actually. I am not concerned... Thank you for your responses!☺

I spoke to my doctor about this with my last pregnancy as we have cats and he said aslong as you mask up and wear gloves then wash hands and clean tray in a well ventilated area then you should be fine and we both was A-OK :)

You're not supposed to clean the litter box. But when I was pregnant with my first I really didn't have a choice because my husband was working ridiculous hours and wasn't home very much. I wore a mask, gloves and long sleeves. I made sure. I was covered up and changed right away.

Absolutely not ! Your not supposed to change litter boxes . There is something in the cats urine that can cause birth defects too your fetus !

I think you're fine, I read if you've been around it for a lot of your life you are most likely immune.
