Yoga balls...

Im 40+2, having a sweep tomorrow morning. I really dont want one.. ive watched videos and it looks very uncomfy and my cousin says it makes you ache with period pain etc. I just want my waters to break! So anyway i got a yoga ball, it gave me intence pressure on my pubic bone after about 30 mins of using it so i stopped. Is this meant to happen or??

I got a membrane sweep and did not think it was uncomfortable at all. It's just a little pressure.... The least of our worries in birthing a child! They won't do a sweep though unless you are at least 1 cm dilated. Good luck!

Yep. The bouncing encourages baby to move down further. The pressure is baby's head :) now, he/she may move back up a bit releasing some pressure but hopefully you were able to dialate/efface more while he/she was down there
