am I getting close?

Im a ftm, due in 12 days... 38 weeks. I've been cramping for the past week.. well Saturday and sunday i did alot of walking.. especially sunday.. when i got in the car and headed home, i started having WORSE cramps than normal. And lasted all night. Today i haven't been cramping that much. But i've been getting sharp pains. 3 Weeks ago i was 1 cm... friday i was 1-2 cms.. my dr looks at me crazy when i told him i was cramping on friday.., but im 38 weeks.. im suppose to start feeling pains... no bleeding or anything.. also still havent lost my mucus plug.. so am i getting close ? So ready to meet her. And i would hate to get induced, as i heard its much worse cause your forcing labor.

U don't have to lose your mucus plug before actual labor.. Looks like things are moving.. Nothing to do now but wait on the baby

Hi! Every single body is different, so it's really hard to tell. Actually, ecru one of my pregnancies were different. So all we can actually do is wait.. And pray:)
Good luck!
