C-section fears...

Hi mommies!
Friday morning at 8am I'm having a scheduled c-section. My entire pregnancy has been high risk due to multiple reasons and a c-section is safer for both baby and me. I'm very nervous about the spinal! And the idea that I will be awake in the OR. I've had many surgeries in my life and handle them just fine. But then again I'm asleep when they are happening. This is totally different. And it's not just my life to worry about this time. Any ways to ease fears of the c-section itself? And getting the spinal? Any bit of help/insight would be greatly appreciated!!

It goes so quick you won't have time to worry. I had a cs two years ago, scheduled. From the time they gave me the spinal to the time they were stapling me up, was 15 minutes. The spinal dod make me very nauseous but just say something and they will give you something in your IV that stops it immediately. You will feel tugging, pressure but it doesn't last long. You'll be fine.

I got a c section 7 years ago and the spinal wasn't bad the healing process for me was extremely tuff. However I felt a lot of pressure during the process but I was fine.
