excited/nervous/anxious!

Is it normal to be so nervous for your first real ob appointment. Will be hearing heart beat jan 8th,  just nervous, wanting everything to be good and normal. A girl I work with has had a miscarriage and stillbirth and her stories and stuff scare the **** out of me.  Just want things to be good! Ahhh Thursday needs to come!

I was the same way at my first appt only cuz it took me so long to get pregnant and when the doctor checked my heart beat she laughed and asked if i was nervous. Everything turned out fine and im sure the everything will be fine with you. Good luck.

How far along will you be? If your not at least 12-13 weeks you may not hear the heart with a Doppler. But if you have a sono you will good luck I'm sure everything is just perfect
