heart burn, Fed up of it

I'm ****** right off right now, heart burn 24/7, what's that all about!? I'm just living of milk, water and liquid gavascon and I'm just sick of it, it's like lava boiling in my throat, I can't eat anything without getting it and I just don't even want to eat because I know the outcome is just going to be heart burn...

I have taken Zantac in all 3 of my pregnancies. And if you go to Walmart they have the generic brand for way cheaper. I usually get the blue cooling ones. Hope they help.

Midwife told me to take 12 hour Zantac at my last appointment.  It was so bad if I bent over I threw up.  Much better now. I CAN SLEEP!!!! :)  30 weeks Friday.

Oh I feel ya right there when I was carrying my 3 girls I had the baddest heartburn so much I couldn't even sleep...it was such a relief to finally have them cause it went away...I've been told an old wives tale that if you have bad heartburn your baby has lots of hair....not sure if it's fair dinkum but all my girls were born with lots lol...my son must be not so hairy cause I haven't had it so much this time around....or that its worse with girls as they carry higher. The only thing that helped me was quick eze that were chewable like minties not the powdery type

The only thing that's helped me is Zantac (no name) every 12 hours. Tums will only help for 10 min if that and natural remedies do nothing.

Try asking your dr about medicine that is not over the counter. I'm taking some and it works really well!
