@alybell they said that if u have hypothyroidism then ur meds should automatically be increased.

I have had hypothyroidism for many years now. I did the surgery and take my pill every day. Once i got pregnant i started to realize a the complications that it can cause. They did my blood work and my tsh was 19 and i had to remind my doctor to check it. Now am being monitored more they increased my meds, but my hair is so damagaed more than ever before.am just praying it doesn't harm the baby.
This is my first pregnancy with hypothyroid. No change from my other pregnancies without taking or knowing I had a thyroid problem. They did blood work and im still taking the same dosagr as I did before I conceived
I used to have hypothyroidism and a few months before my fiance and I conceived I quit taking all medication. Once I did this I was finally able to lose weight and my hair stopped falling out. My doctor did all the normal blood work when I found out I was pregnant and saw that my thyroid had corrected itself and is working perfect.
I have been suffering from hypothyroid for past 7 yrs. this is my 3rd pregnancy. First 2 ended in miss carriage. I am going for regular 4 week TSH and free T4 tests. Thyroid does has gone up almost after every test. Current dosage is 50% higher than pre pregnant dose
