My labor story

Javen was born June 19 at 11:04pm emergency via c section.
I woke up and went to my doctors appointment and she said everything was perfect. About two hours later I thought I was getting braxton Hicks but I guess they were contractions. After a few hours they were getting uncomfortable so I called my mom to come over. So I took a bath and just relaxed. About another hour around 3pm I called my doctor and she said since I had been in  preterm labor before to go to the hospital. When I got there I had dilated to 3 cm. Before I was 2 cm. Also my blood pressure was starting to spike up and the baby was getting stressed. The doctor said that if  my blood pressure did not go down in the next three hours I would have to have an emergency c section. I was really scared about the health of my son being born at 34 weeks but I knew that was the best thing to do. Around 9:15pm I got prepped for the c section and less then 10 minutes after they started the operation I heard a strong healthy cry.
The doctors noticed that he was breathing fast but after awhile he got used to breathing normally and on his own. Right now he in the process of learning how to eat and will be in the nicu til Wednesday.
I never thought I was going to have my first child at 34 weeks without my husband but I am glad Javen is here and healthy.
Thank you ladies for all you love support and encouraging words through this time.
                           Love Krista

Congrats hope the baby is doing better and eating on his own. And that's my biggest fear my child father might not make it to the hospital before the baby comes

The doctors have decided to put a feeding tube in. This is the best way to get the nutrition he needs. He will probably only have it until he comes home on Wednesday.
