Been doing yoga my whole pregnancy.  And other exercises. I'm 33 weeks tomorrow.  Baby is 4.5 pounds and I've gained 9.5 pounds total. I do yoga 2x to 3x a week.  I do regular vinyasa flow yoga and I'm amazed at my body. Baby loves yoga too...

Ive done yoga in the past and enjoyed it but havnt done prenatal yoga. I will be starting a prenatal workout class in 2 weeks though that im excited about. And Ive started seeing a personal trainer to learn exercises that are good for preparing for birth, many of whixh use the exercise ball.

There is pregnancy poses as an alternative to a lot of the yoga poses that we should be extra cautious about. Look it up on the web. If you feel any discomfort at any time, take the child's pose, even though the others are doing something else.

Hello Myangeljuly2015. Thanks for your kind suggestions.  I will definitely take it to heart since it's my first yoga, ever. The place I go to are very attentive and know that I'm obviously pregnant.  So, they are always making sure I don't do much.

Congratulations to you too!

I have a suggestion dear,  just remember you don't stretch too much.  In yoga,  there's a tendency to stretch since it gives you a sweet pain and a sense of achievement later.  However not the right time to do it.  Just do as much as your body allows,  try to focus on pelvic area and don't forget breathing exercises.  All the best and keep us posted with your progress.

Hi ladies^ I'm glad to hear that yoga is a safe exercise during pregnancy.  My first yoga really helped me go to sleep throughout the night without the bathroom run. I'm excited about it and will continue next week:)

Congratulations to you both^
