ovary pain

Ok ladies I'm 13 weeks and my left ovary hurts on and off like I'm getting pinched from the inside. It used too act up right before I'd have my period. Should i be concern? ?

The pain comes and goes I've had chocolate cyst but in Sept my ovaries looked ok. Upper left side of abdomen. Ty i have appt in Feb for my 4month check up. Just don't want to go to hospital

Have you had any ovarian cysts or other issues in the past?  I frequently get sharp pains lower abdomen. Likely they are result of the digestive system slowing for increased absorption or things stretching around to make room for baby.  I have endometriosis and still have some adhesions that can hurt like heck as the baby starts to grow.  However, your doctor should include your ovaries in your ultrasound just to make sure everything is in the right place.  They can also check for cysts via ultrasound.  Typically though even cysts will go away on their own but the ovaries should be quite from now until after baby is born.  Good luck
