Not a specific time of day, no. It usually was any time I tried to do anything, including just walking a few feet, but resting and drinking lots of water seem to help.

I have the same thing. Apparently it's because our bodies are making more blood for the baby and the placenta and all that good stuff so our hearts are pumping more than when we're not pregnant and so we feel short of breath.

I hope this is clearing up for you. I had shortness of breath about 2 weeks ago. At first I didn't think much of it since I was recovering from a cold at the time, but I was getting light headed really really and still having shortness of breath after 3 days. So I went to the ER, and the Dr said it was merely a complication of pregnancy. I was 6 weeks 6 days pregnant, and the Dr said my body was still adjusting to having the growing baby using my oxygen and blood. Hope that helps reassure you.

Maybe it's anxiety. I have anxiety and feel out of breath mostly during night time and have a difficult time going to sleep. I'm only 6 weeks can't even imagine what's ahead of me.
