wired Cravings

I've been having really wired cravings for soil and ice and I don't know how to haldle it I know  it's harmful to the baby so I try my best to stay away from it, bit when ever am sitting at home alone it's all I can think about. I need help to stop this cravings before it gets out of hand

I agree with the others.   It could be low iron or PIC A.   I had a boy in the Bronx where I used to teach eat crayon wrappers and erasers and things.  You may have vitamin deficiencies and you should request blood work to confirm it.  Definitely call your doctor but I think even request blood work too!  Good luck to you. They say if you are craving dirt, you are having a boy ;) I know how hard it is to eat things other than what you are craving but try to eat things that are high in iron. It might help subside those cravings with things that are good for you and baby. Both craving suggest that is what you are low on.

I think the soil craving is called pica and the ice craving is caused by low iron. You should definitely call ur doctor right away so they can help. I hope things get better :)

Craving ice chips I think means u may be anemic but let ur doc know for sure =)
