Is it normal?

im 6 weeks 4 days pregnant and about 2 days ago I started spotting but now I'm having like my period. Is it normal? I've went to the doctors about it and they said its normal cause my body is detoxing for the baby, I'm just wondering if any other mommies have had this! I'm not stressing too much about it anymore but just wondering if its normal

I did spot also but because I had miscarriage before I went straight to hospital, in my opinion if your not cramping or hurting and blood isn't heavy wait it out make a doc appomient for the following day, but if it's with cramps or just heavy blood or more than spotting go straight to emergency room , it's better to be safe and you will get answers right there and then . I apologize to hospital for going so much but they understood my past and how I worry . God bless you and take care and ask many questions to your doctor so you won't have any doubt or any worries . They know more .

I'm 6w4d too and I've also been spotting. I called the doctor last Friday when it started and she said as long as it's not heavy and I'm not in pain, it's probably ok. I'll still be nervous until I finally see the doctor on Monday though!
Every woman is different, I know some who, spotted in the first trimester and were perfectly normal, some who miscarried, and some who never spotted. Just listen to your body and take care of yourself! Good luck and Congrats!
