Placenta PRevis diagnosis?

Had my appt. Yesterday at 27 weeks exactly, found out I have partial placenta previa. I have another ultra sound in around 3-4 weeks to see if anything has changed. Even though I asked my doctormany questions she didn't give me alot of information and just kept saying, "let's wait on the ultrasound". I went home and Googled it (big mistake) and now I am stressed the heck out. This is my 3rd pregnancy with the other two with no complications and natural vaginal birth. So the thought of a c section is freaking me out. I also read that pelvic rest and lifting restrictions were put on most women with this, but my doc never mentioned it? I have to go in a get some labs done tomorrow so I plan on asking another doc some questions while I am there. Just wondering if any of you have experienced this, and what your outcomes were. Trying to wrap my head around a possible c section. Thanks ladies!

My first baby the placenta was lying low so had to have c section. Same with my second and this pregnancy the same. My 2 sections were fine I recovered well. To be honest I don't know what it's like to have a normal birth so don't have anything to compare to. I think labor would terrify me and not knowing how long it would go on for.

I have been told I have that. With my other three the placenta was high this one is low lying. I have my 28 week scan in a week. They just said it can move as your baby gets bigger it goes higher in your uterus andvso can pull placenra away from the exit. Did say will have to have another scan at 36 weeks to check it again. I had C-section with my second and didn't think it was as bad as I thought it woild be as labour last so long and becso painfull. The thought this one could end in c-section doesn't worry me. Good luckx
