I would tell your midwife. It's no fun pregnancy it's a hard job that seems to last forever and when your tired things seem so much worse. You said you are on your own! Is there not a friend or family member you can confide in? There is helplines you can call like the NCT one. Don't suffer alone! Talk to your Midwife. I suffer with depression any way but mine does seem to get worse now I'm pregnant. I try to focus on the thought of just getting through a day at a time. Good luck x
If depression is worrying you, talk to your doctor. I felt that way in my last pregnancy and spoke to my doctor, it passed. I can be moody this time and have tearful episodes but for some that's just part of the process. As for bonding with baby don't be to hard on yourself. I always feels it takes me about a month after they are born to have a gushing love for them. Although I like taking care of them after being born and giving lots of hugs, my bonding seems to start when doing night feeds and everybody in bed and it's just me and my baby. All woman are different, their is to much emphasis on how we are meant to feel, think and bond. We are all different. I hope all works out, look for help, trust doctors they have heard it all before.
