LADIES!! How is everyone doing? *Check In!*

Been a while since I've heard from any of you.. How is it going?? I'm so eager and restless right now! I'm nesting like crazy and I can't sleep.
I'll start by updating you all on me. Had an apt. yesterday, no progress "down there" still 1 cm, don't know % on the effacement, but I'm somewhat thinned out.. I just finished packing everything ready for the hospital and making some adjustments.. Dr. said I could choose to be induced on Tuesday [1 week] if I wanted to be. But I think [right now I feel this way, atleast] that I'll just wait it out.
Geeze girls, I've only got 12 days left, can you believe it?? I almost can't.
How is everyone? Anyone made any progress so far, how many days left? How are you all feeling? Feel like me and about done sharing your body yet? lol I like knowing he's safe, but I want it back to myself now, he can come out whenever he's ready! Haha. :)

oh hun...  i am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad!  :(  i pray all goes well w/ what you have left of your pregnancy and i hope your doctor will agree that all is well for you to be induced...  hang in there!!!

well everyone, i ended up calling the doctor today and they made me come right in.  my feet are a purpleish red color and hurt soooo bad!  i have protein in my urine and severe swelling.  I am now on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy...which i am hoping wont be to long.  I am going to beg to be induced next week when i hit 37 weeks if he doesnt come before then, i am in such agony all the time and with all the medical issues i have had this time i think its in the best interest for us both.

I also have gestational diabetes and my little man was measuring 6lbs 6oz at 35 weeks along.  I have been having a lot of issues with this pregnancy and I am hoping that I will be induced early for a number of reasons.  I have an appointment 2marrow and know that I will either be put on strict bedrest or induced right away.  The swelling i have been getting lately is so bad that i can barely walk it hurts to even brush my hand across my feet or legs.  they look like they are going to explode.  I gained 8lbs of water weight in a week.  My feet and legs are "hard" when i touch then, which i guess isn't good at all and my fingers go numb for hours.  I cant wait for this to be over, and have my baby in my arms.  Sleep is just not an option anymore b/c i am in so much pain and as soon as i lay down it seems as though the contractions get worse...so does the pain from everywhere.

I have either 6 days or 13 days left - depends on if I make any progress on my own this weekend that my doctor can see on Tuesday.  He says if I have he'll bring me in Thursday night for induction, if no progress yet (which we think will be the case) then we'll wait another week and go in on the 5th of June.  I can't believe it could actually be next week!  That is too freaky for me!  Either way, doc says I will not go to my due date because I have gestational diabetes and he doesn't want me going to term - but if I go on the 5th, that is only 6 days early, so hopefully this baby will not be too huge.  U/S on Friday shows her at 7lb 5oz already - I really hope that is overstated!!

I have 24 days I think left.  I haven't even packed a bag, but I'm with the 2 of you, I just want my body back.  I was checked a little over a week ago, and nothing is happening as of yet, but with my 1st 2 pregnancies, I didn't have any changes until the day I delivered, go figure, which by the way they were both late, my 1st was 12 days late and my 2nd was 3 days late.  I have another dr appt this friday and I hope something is going on, I plan to do alot of walking starting next week to hopefully get things going and go before my due date.  :o)

hey...  glad to hear everything is good for you!  wow, only 12 days?  i have exactly 3 wks and 3 days now until my c-section.  and i feel you on wanting your body back.  i told dh the other night that we had just a little over 3 wks left until i can start loosing weight again!  he laughed...  i've always been able to loose my baby weight but this time its official...  i WILL be a hot momma again!!!  i'll be getting my tubes tied and i actually look forward to working out!  :)

i'm doing pretty good here.  my appts are weekly now and my next one is thursday.  i don't know if i'm starting to thin out, etc...  b/c i haven't had a cervix check yet.  i will say though that i'm getting very nervous about this delivery!  i'm ready for my baby but i'm not ready for all that's involved this time around.  i'll be at an unfamilliar hospital, with an unfamiliar nursing and doc staff, and our baby has to go through protocol and an 8 hr fasting test before we can go home!  other than freaking out about that, i'm ready!!!  :)
