Heart Rates

Since we are all around the same time, what is yoru baby's heart rate?  At my 6 week 5 day ultrasound, the heart rate was 120.  Then at 8 weeks it was 158 and today at 8 weeks 6 days it was 168.  Just thought we could compare!

At 5 weeks we were at 102....then the next week we were 117.....now at 9 weeks we are at 188......doc said all these numbers were well within range, and looking good.....can't wait until I can hear or feel something on my own....

Oh no, no worries:)  That number is just fine.  My baby's heart rate went from 120 at 6 weeks five days to 158 at 8 weeks to 168 at 9 weeks so i guess the rates increase at first and then as the baby gets bigger, it gets a little lower.

At 6w5d the heartrate was 132.  At 8w2d it was 143.  Should I be concerned that it was higher?  The doctor said it was good...but I'm nervous.

I also lost a twin.  It was originally a lot smaller than the other sac.  They saw a yolk sac and a heart beat at my ultrasound at 6 weeks 5 days but when I went back at 8 weeks, there was no heart beat.  It was so sad for me to lose that baby.  I still have one that is going strong though.

I have twins -

At 6 weeks, 4 days, both twins had a heart beat of 122.

I'm currently 8 weeks and haven't had any repeat ultrasounds.  My next one is scheduled in December.

Kasey - I'm so sorry to hear that.  That has to be really difficult.  I hope everything is OK with your other little beat!  Hang in there...I'm sure it will be fine.

kmcarino - Me and the u/s tech I saw today think I'm 9wks 1day, and my OB who saw me 2 weeks ago dated me earlier.  By his timing I'd be 8 1/2 wks today but I'm going with my ovulation timing and the latest u/s measurement (I knew I was right!).   Anyway, our heartbeat today was 176!  They didn't give us one last time.

I had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks and it was only 100, I go back when I am 8 weeks and 3 days to make sure everything is still going well. But I am so nervous. I went in at 7 weeks because of spotting/ bleeding, and they found a vanishing twin. So right now its like I am having a miscarriage of one, but still pregnant with the other. I just want this one to be ok!
