Hi all my name is Malik! I'm 33 yrs old & 11wks pregnant. I have 2 girls (10 & 3) & 1 miscarriage jun 08. The timing is all wrong for this pregnancy but i'm basking in all the joys it will bring. My hubby & I are seperated & during a weak moment we produced another baby. We are still progressing with the divorce. So this will be a very different course. I feel blessed to be growing a life, him not so much. Hopefuly he will get over it. I'm just so nervous of miscarrying again. My first US is on the 14th. I can't wait. I can't wait to continue this journey with you all

Hi All,
My name is Claudia, I will be 39 years old in two weeks. I have no children yet, I have fertility challenges (lol another nice way to say I couldn't conceive on my own). I got pregnant with IVF(ISCI in Colombia), transfer was on September 2nd and according to my doctor there my due date is june17th (internet calculators say June 13th).  I had a miscarriagle last year around this same time (bilghted ovum). I had been feeling great (no morning sickness yeah!!!) just sore breast and tired all the time.   I am praying everything is fine today, I am feeling a bit anxious because I have an U/S and there was no heartbeat so I am very worried and can't help it no matter what I read or all the love and encouragement I receive from my DH.  I hope everyhting is ok and I can continue being part of this forum.
PD. I feel embarrased I have been jumping from thread to thread but I'll stick to this one.

Hello,
I'm new to this forum.. I'm pregnant, but how no clue how far...I went over for my first appointment back in 10/27, the doc told me I should had been 6w4d preg, but one the ultrasound was done we all were very surprise. No heartbeat, by the size it looked as a 5 week, so they said i either ovulated lated or it was a signed of a miscarriage.  so i want to believe i ovulated late.  My doc order some lab work to check my hcg, go ta called last monday they said everything looks good. I have my next appointment tomorrow... hoping that i can see a HB i'm very happy... this is our  3rd baby... we got two little girls 6(will be 7 in dec 6) and 5 .... so after that many years it feels like the first time...lol.. my husband is 22 and I'm 25 =)

i will be around.... =)

Hello Everyone. I am new to this group. My name is Amber. I am going to be 27 in January. DH is 29. We just found out on Saturday (Halloween) that we are expecting. This  is my first and I am so excited. Got everything confirmed from Doc yesterday. I am due June 23rd. Going in for first appt. on Monday.
My husband and I had been trying for about a year and then in Sept. decided to wait. Nature had other plans for us. :) I'm new to this so I'm sure I will have a million questions as it progresses. So thank you in advance ladies.

Hello Everyone -

It's been almost two weeks since I last posted.  I've just been holding my breath waiting for the first ultrasound before I wrote anything more.  I didn't want to get my hopes up too high.

Had my first ultrasound yesterday - just found out that I have twins - 6 weeks 4 days each - and both had the exact same heart rate of 122.  Am still on cloud 9!

My due date is June 24th (although with twins, I think it'll be earlier than that).  This is all new to me.  I'm 42 and this is my first pregnancy.  Am ecstatic that it is twins.

It's very hard not to get too excited since I'm still early in my pregnancy, yet at the same time I want to enjoy every single day of it.

Has anyone else had twins?  Any suggestions for me?

I had my US yesterday, it was great seeing the baby bean and hearing the HB :)..DH almost cried....however I started bleeding quite bit on sunday night. Had no cramping so I was not to frighten. Now it's brown almost black. The doctor is not too concern after seeing the baby but out of precaution he has me on bed rest :(. It's most likely a uterine hematoma and he said it's away from the baby so the baby is not in danger due to it...I'm keeping my faith.

Good morning ladies and Happy Halloween!!
How are all my pregnant friend doing today?
This morning I woke up to find that I was spotting again. It is brown in color and I am not cramping so I'm not going to worry too much about it. My levels are good and I just have to keep praying that everything will be okay. Nothing is going to make me feel good about this pregnancy until I get to see the baby and heartbeat. 10 days to go!!! Argggggh!!

That is great news! Sex is off limits for us too until I get past my 1st ulrasound on the 10th. I don't think we could wait till the 1st trimester is over anyway.  I stopped spotting and had my progesterone and hcg levels checked.Just got back the results this morning and everything is within normal range. I am at 7+ weeks and doing good. I will be crossing everything and looking  like a pretzel until the 10th. I am glad that you like your OB. I am not too happy with mine and am looking for a different doctor. I think that I will go back to my old doctor before  I moved. She is about an hour away but I think that I will feel more secure going to someone who knows my misscarriage history.

Thank you for your prayers. You don’t know how much that means.

Funny how that happened to both of us around the same time. I went to my OB for the first time yesterday and she said that sex may have been the cause (I too had had sex within 24 hours). She did a thorough examination and found that there was no bleeding and everything looked good. The little heartbeat is still beating as strong as ever (Yeah!!) The spotting has finally gone away and I’m feeling fine now. However, she wants me to refrain from sex until I pass my first trimester just to be on the safe side. In addition, she wants me to see a maternal, fetal (high risk) doctor for the duration of my pregnancy because of the m/c. All in all, everything went great and I’m in good spirits.

BTW, I must tell you that I absolutely love her already. I never really did click with my last OB and this time around it was of major concern for me, but now I know she’s going to be great. She is absolutely awesome!!

OMG !!  I started spotting on Sunday and it lasted till yesterday. It started out pink and then turned brown.Yesterday it stopped thank God.I went in for some bloodwork and will get the results on Friday. I almost passed out also when I first saw it. I can't believe that it happened to both of us around the same time.My Dr is not too worried though because it is brown in color and not bright red. That means that it is old blood. She also asked if I had sex within 24 hours, which I did. she siad that it is common to spot after sex because the cervix is very sensitive and filled with blood vessels from being pregnant.
I was not cramping alot either. How are you feeling today? Please let me know how your Dr appt goes. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

It's funny that I find myself doing the same thing each time I go to the bathroom too. Wouldn't you know that my fear was realized yesterday morning. Sure enough when I wiped yesterday I almost fainted. Immediately I went back to bed and contemplated whether to go to work or not. I eventually decided to go in. I called my RE and was told that spotting is usually normal at this stage. However, I'm still freaking out. I'm still spotting this morning and trying my best to cope and not let it stress me too muchit. I have an appointment this morning so I guess I'll get the news one way or the other. In the mean time I'm trying to keep the faith and take it as easy as possible.

Congratulations Miranda and welcome!!!  I am in the same position as you.I have had 3 miscarriages and am praying that this one will stick!  I will be praying for you.

It looks like the November will be the month that we will get the answers that we need. I am coming up on 7 weeks and have just been waiting till I get past the 8 week mark. I have never made it past 8 weeks so this is my 1st hurdle that I need to get past.Next will be seeing a heartbeat.I am so scared this time.I really want this baby so bad.I find myself checking every time that I go to the bathroom for spotting.I know that it is in God's hands but I just can't help it.I wish that there was a time machine so that I can just get past this next 2 weeks.

Marcy04 & Teachnz:
congrats on your u/s. I had mines this past Friday 10/23 but I didn't think to ask how much the heartbeat was measuring. The dr did say that everything looked good and I left it at that. I should have asked. I have another one on 11/09 and I'll definitely be sure to ask then.

Marcy:
I also agree w/Selaiwa and wouldn't worry to much about being a week off. Most likely you just implanted a little late.

Hopefulmiranda:
welcome and congrats! I just know everything will go okay with your u/s on the 2nd. Be sue to keep us in the loop on your results. In the mean time sit back, relax, and enjoy the pregnancy symptoms :o)
