Hello Everyone -

It's been almost two weeks since I last posted.  I've just been holding my breath waiting for the first ultrasound before I wrote anything more.  I didn't want to get my hopes up too high.

Had my first ultrasound yesterday - just found out that I have twins - 6 weeks 4 days each - and both had the exact same heart rate of 122.  Am still on cloud 9!

My due date is June 24th (although with twins, I think it'll be earlier than that).  This is all new to me.  I'm 42 and this is my first pregnancy.  Am ecstatic that it is twins.

It's very hard not to get too excited since I'm still early in my pregnancy, yet at the same time I want to enjoy every single day of it.

Has anyone else had twins?  Any suggestions for me?

I had my US yesterday, it was great seeing the baby bean and hearing the HB :)..DH almost cried....however I started bleeding quite bit on sunday night. Had no cramping so I was not to frighten. Now it's brown almost black. The doctor is not too concern after seeing the baby but out of precaution he has me on bed rest :(. It's most likely a uterine hematoma and he said it's away from the baby so the baby is not in danger due to it...I'm keeping my faith.

Welcome Myra!!
I too have suffered 3 losses so I totally understand how you feel during early pregnancy. It is nice to see another "Cougar"!  LOL !!  I am 44 and my husband is 40. We have been married for 15 years and are still madly in love with each other. When are you do?

I pray that each one of you will have peace in your pregnancies as you remember your losses and celebrate your new miracles. I would love to join this group. I look forward to reading some more.

Good morning ladies and Happy Halloween!!
How are all my pregnant friend doing today?
This morning I woke up to find that I was spotting again. It is brown in color and I am not cramping so I'm not going to worry too much about it. My levels are good and I just have to keep praying that everything will be okay. Nothing is going to make me feel good about this pregnancy until I get to see the baby and heartbeat. 10 days to go!!! Argggggh!!

That is great news! Sex is off limits for us too until I get past my 1st ulrasound on the 10th. I don't think we could wait till the 1st trimester is over anyway.  I stopped spotting and had my progesterone and hcg levels checked.Just got back the results this morning and everything is within normal range. I am at 7+ weeks and doing good. I will be crossing everything and looking  like a pretzel until the 10th. I am glad that you like your OB. I am not too happy with mine and am looking for a different doctor. I think that I will go back to my old doctor before  I moved. She is about an hour away but I think that I will feel more secure going to someone who knows my misscarriage history.
