I had my 4d today - super awesome!  The technology has improved in the last 18 months since I did the one for my son..I wonder how cool it'll be in another couple years...it'll practically be photograph quality I bet!
But, anyways, back to my little girl - my husband says she looks like my son, but he thinks her lips look like his (my husband's) because they are full looking and his are more full than mine.  I am not sure how much you can actually tell from the ultrasound, but we'll soon enough find out!
We went back and looked at my son's 4D today, and it really did look like him!  Even for not being a real photograph, it looked like his face alright. :-)
Can't wait to hear about everyone else's ultrasounds! :-)

Got mine scheduled for Tues. March 29.  It's $200 at my doctor's office..ugh.  I think my last doctor was $175.  Well, this is our 2nd, and probably last, baby so it's worth it. :-)

I'm getting mine done on monday. It's $150 where I'm going, Insurance usually does not cover it since there is no medical reason for it. All of my friends that have had babies also had it done.

Our medical didn't cover it either. We had it done at 17wks, it's so cool! Worth the money, I actually found a place that had coupons online and it ended up being 85 dollars and we received a dvd, cd, and pictures. I want to go back again at 30 weeks but my husband doesnt want to. He wants to be surprised at what he looks like when he gets here.

My insurance doesn't cover it.  We bought a package of two visits for around $250.  I did my first at 22 weeks (in my photos on my page) and will do another in March around 30 weeks.  It was amazing!!

My insurance doesn't cover it either, but we got it done with my son and will get it done in a few weeks for my daughter, too.  It is really cool, so I'd recommend it if you can afford it w/o insurance.  Plus you'll always have it as a memory for you and your baby.  :-)

I got one done with my son and I am planning on doing it this time around as well. I didn't go through my doctor I went to a place that specifically does the 4D ultrasounds and for a really good price.

My medical aid do not cover the 4D so I found that the hospital where I am going to deliver will do it for free, I have to give them proof thou, like my bed number & bring along a rewritable DVD - even if I had to pay for this service I would have, its my 3rd baby but my 1st baby girl, would be great to have the pics & DVD as part of her collection - scrapbooking! Blessings
