Camille Ann arrived on June 16!

We arrived at the hospital at 6am to start the induction.  I got hooked up to the iv right away and then got the pitocin started at 6:30am.  I started out at almost 4 cm and 60% effaced.  The nurse increased the pitocin every half hour and at 10:30 I got my epidural.  At that time I was aboit 5 cm and 80%.  After the epidural gotgoing the nurse checked and I was 6-7cm.  Then my doctor came in at 12:30ish and said "9, no 10 cm" and the nurse asked her if she was ready for me to push.  She said yes and after they got set up and 5 pushes later, Camille was born at 12:37pm.  She was 8 lbs 11 ozs and 20 1/2 inches long.  I had a very minor tear but other than that we are all well!  I will post pics soon. :-) I asked the nurse at the start of the day if subsequent inductions were shorter and she said yes by half the length of time.  Sure enough this time was 6 hours and my son's took 12 hours.  Also my son and daughter were nearly the same size. My son was 8 lb 12 oz and 20 inches.  I don't know what's up with me and big late babies, but they are healthy and we are so blessed!
