Movement or hick-up? Plz. tell me?

Okay now that the Braxton Hicks is "sorted" lol ... I would like to know what do you feel when your baby has the hick-ups? Meaning that I dont know what it feels like, maybe I've experienced it but dont now the difference between movement & hickup?? Plz. tell me?

Hiccups are so funny! My lil girl gets them ALL the time!! I have really been feeling them in the last 2 weeks a LOT! It probably doesn't help that I drink seltzer water...poor baby! ;)

Ha - that's great!  So fun, isn't it?  :-)  I bet you'll start noticing it happen more and more now that you know what it feels like.
It's like me with the braxton hicks contractions - with my first baby, I didn't know what they were, but had them all the time and a couple times at my dr. appt, she asked if I had any and I kept saying no, but then I had one in her office and she said that's what it was and I was like "OH!  I have those ALL the time!" LOL

OK, what a coincidence, last night, I felt my baby girl hiccuping for the first time!  I was laying in bed and I felt it really low down.  It was a rhythmic pattern that lasted for about 10 minutes or so, with a hiccup every 3-5 seconds, like we normally get.  Even my husband could put his hand on my belly and feel.  He was like "yep, that's hiccups".  She was also moving around during them, but I could definitely distinguish the hiccup pattern.  Let the hiccup fun begin - hehe! :-)

I'm right there with you on not knowing. I think i've had them also, but I'm not sure. I felt this random movement a few times in a row on the lower right side of my stomach a few times. So I assumed that's what it was lol.

Hiccups feel just like they would if you got them, but in your belly...lol  Basically it's a rhythmic pattern and your belly usually jumps with them.  Like, when you get the hiccups and have one every few seconds, the baby does, too.  So, you'll feel it in a pattern different from just other random movement.  When your baby hiccups, I think you'll figure it out because it is quite different from punches or kicks from the baby.  My son ALWAYS had them in the womb and he still gets them often and he's now 15 months old.  I haven't noticed any with this baby yet, but I still have 12 weeks to go.  :-)
