I told every one the first day I knew lol
I have told my mom, dad, sister, 2 close friends nearby and 1 friend only because she was visiting me from across the country and it'll be a while before I see her again! We're probably going to wait and tell everyone else, including dd's family, until after we get CVS or bloodwork results and feel pretty confident the baby is chromosomally normal. I feel like I'm going to show a lot earlier this pregnancy, though, so don't know how long I'll be able to keep it secret! :)
i would love to tell the world but we have told our daughter (2years old) our parents, and 2 siblings each. i have another 5 siblings to tell but il leave it until 12 weeks. 2 weeks to go. im so nervous! my scan is on the 1st dec, cant wait but i wana hear good news lol i know iv started to show already, i cant suck it in since 5/6 weeks and im paranoid people will guess before i have a chance to tell
We have told all of our family members and I have told one friend. I am waiting until my son's first birthday which is just when I'll be out of the 1st trimester, to announce it on Facebook and to our friends.
I've told everyone I just haven't announced it to my friends and family on facebook not sure when that will be out depends on dh.
We've told mothers, father, siblings, my aunts, my uncles, grandma's, and several close friends. It seems like we've told everyone...lol. But we have 2 weeks to go! I can't wait until this first trimester is over so I can sing it from the roof tops! Besides bigger boobs and a small pooch I'm not showing very much yet. Although, I am using a rubber band in my pants so I wont have to button them....
I have told my immediate family and very close co- workers....I was going to wait to tell everyone once I turned 12 weeks but I thing I am going to hold out a little longer to tell my extended family only because the holidays are around the corner and I think that would be nice to announce it at our family christmas party!!
I told my grandmother and best friend as soon as I found out because they're my anti-freakout people. I'm waiting to tell the rest of the family but I couldn't resist telling my dad today. When we had our PMP in April my father was almost as crushed as I was, he was just starting to warm to the idea of being a grandpa so it's taking him a little bit to get excited.
And..my father has the secret keeping ability of a three year old... When I say "Only grandma and best friend know" why would you post the news on Facebook!? Silly man...
Most everyone knows, my coworkers, family members, close friends. I plan to facebook the announcement the end of this week when I hit 12 weeks. I didn't have a choice but to tell, I am already wearing maternity clothes! This is my 6th pregnancy, 3 living children and 2 angel babies, so I showed right away!
After my appt last Monday, I told a few close co-workers and more family. Also I "kinda" made a Facebook announcement, i.e., "I'm the happiest girl in the whole USA :) :) :)" post that anyone who knows me can read between the lines. =)
Wanted to wait til 12 weeks to tell my boss, but I'll probably be showing by then!! This is my 5th baby....
Anyway, since I'm a teacher and it's a summer baby, it's not really a big deal.
I know this is a little late...but we have started slowly telling people this week as it is week 12. We have yet to tell my husband's family (because they are so big) and some of my really close friends we havent told yet. That will be this weekend!
Some people will tell you to share the good news right away but others will say wait to be sure. I recommend doing what is comfortable, if you are nervous like I was (I am a worry wart!!) then don't tell anyone until your 2nd trimester. But if you feel comfortable telling everyone the great news, then by all means go for it!
I JUST told a few people at work today ( that's where I am at the moment...lol) since tomorrow is our 12 week mark. I will "fb" it next week when I have the ultrasound from Friday.
