Blood pressure.

Had my 37 week appointment today. Bub still hasnt moved down any further. Everything was good except my blood pressure was high for the first time. They told me not to worry and im not. But just wondering how likely it could be that id get pre eclampsia. I only have three weeks to go so thought i was safe from that. Lol. What should i look out for or do till my next appointment?

Im 38 weeks and at my last appointment my blood pressure was 140/90. They tested my urine and I had protein in it so they sent me for a nonstress test. Everything turned out good. I think as long as you dont have protein in your urine they wont worry.

It was 132/80. Which is still in the ok range i think. But its usually around 120/60. Dont have any swelling at all so thats a good sign i guess. They have never checked my urine. My sister got admitted at the end of her pregnancy for high blood pressure.

How high was your blood pressure? Is there any excessive swelling? With this pregnancy I have not had high blood pressure, except yesterday when I checked it it was a little high, 144/68. I called my doctor and he said it was fine. With my previous pregnancy I had it higher and my doctor didn't really do anything about it. He just checked my urine and since there was no protien in it he didn't do anything. At you next appointment, they'll check you again and if it's high and protien in your urine then either they'll put you on bedrest or deliver you.
