Pee-pee teepee

Ok, so I'm having my first boy and I'm so scared, I don't know if I'll know how to change him!! I have seen they have those pee pee teepee's. Do those really work? I don't want to get sprayed. Or what do you recommend to avoid getting sprayed? Any ideas will be helpful.

I normally covered him with a wipe and hurried and changed him. My issue was the bath tub every time I filled the sink with water he would pee in the water or it shot in the air. Sneaky lil guys lol.

Ok, so I finally changed my first "baby boy" diaper and what do you know? I got a baby shower....lol.... My husband was laughing because I had commented to him about my fears of getting showered. It's not that difficult, I'm just always scared of getting pee'd on.

My sister has the peeped tepee things and I find them hilarious! I want them for my little guy just for that reason. But they are unnecessary.  I would just do what the other ladies suggested

lol. Yeah, I remember when I had my first daughter I was changing her diaper and when I took the old one off she poop'd all over. I think she was about 4-5 days old. I even took a picture of it!!

You'll get pretty quick with it, after a while he won't be able to get you. :)

I'm a first-time mom, but I used to be a foster mother of infants, so I've changed many a diaper. The little boys are quick, the trick is to be quicker. Like parkersmommy says, before you even take off his old one, make sure he's covered in front, then take off the old one. In the case of poopy diapers, you can just put a blanket or burp cloth over his little wenis while you take care of the rest of it. I've seen the little teepee thing, think they're probably not totally necessary. Besides, stories about how he got you in the eye once are great for telling his first girlfriend lol.

@Parkersmommy- lol, I'll do that. I have no experience changing boys so I'm so scared.

@Babyiish- You are scaring me!!! Hey, I know my girls are going to be so jealous because he'll be the baby and the only boy and I know who ever comes to visit is going to have their attention on the baby boy. I had a hard time with my first daughter when my second daughter was born. She was 5 and she was very jealous :(

Have your new diapy ready and as soon as you have the old one off cover his little peebug and yes expect to get it once at least lol and when you put a new diaper on him point his little thing down or he'll pee out the top of his diaper lol
