I had my lil girl last fri and I'm feeling better but I tore and I got stitches it is still bothering me plus I got an epidural and I get back pain here and there how are everyone else recovering after labor

I aint never heard of this spray but if i ever get KU again im demanding it or stocking up something! LOL! That pain was awful and enough it makes you hmmm when u think of having another baby! I sure wish i had known i would have paid for some no doubt!

Hey you guys I know it doesn't help knowing this anymore but I seen those sprays at target...I don't know what I would have done without that spray.. I'm surprise that the hospital didnt give you one..I delivered in 3 different hospital and everytime I've been given one of those sprays. :/
3rd pregnancy and this is the first time I tore... :(

Lil miss 23 ik what u mean I just tell myself if only she sleep for an hour straight then I'm k instead of waking up every 20 min or so but hopefully it will soon pass and we both will start getting our lil ones to sleep at night

Gokuangel I wished id been given a spray to sounds like ive been feeling the same as u they gave me a squirt bottle and witchhazel pads that help for the first few mins and then pain im still struggling with the pain its been two weeks today im hoping itl be better next week and that epidural really hurt my back its bittersweet since I was induced and I couldn't handle the pain by myself

Babybump how frustrating is it!? I get angry at myself for getting angry cause they are just so little and they just dont know. The last few days its been 2 or 3am that she has finally settled. Just keep telling myself one day at a time :) Each day is noticeably better though.

I wish i had had some pain relieving spray!! I didnt tear but i had a "mild" abrasion and the pain was very painful every time i went to the bathroom! it took me about 2 wks to start feeling really good i had him on the 5th! I was having trouble walking or standing for long periods of time too i felt like i had been on my feet for hours even if it was for 5 min! All the hospital gave me was a water bottle to squirt on myself down there and those really dont help much at all!

Lilmiss23 im having the same problem she will sleep during the day and yesterday she stayed up most the day for the first time but she still won't sleep at night in her bassinet only when she's in my arms will she sleep

I didn't have a natural birth so I don't know about the tear, but I did get the spinal b/c of the c-section and my back was hurting for sometime. I think it hurt me for about a week and a half, if not more. My baby will be a month tomorrow and my back pain is completely gone. I think you should take it easy if you feel pain. Try not to do too much around the house even if you feel like you can. When I got home from the hospital I tried doing things around the house b/c I felt ok, but after a while I was in pain. So make sure you rest up as much as you can!!

I had my son monday the 18th he was 7.3lbs I luckily didnt tear but my whole body hurt it hurt to get up n walk now im doin ok back soreness when im up for awhile n the,epidural didnt work this time I felt every contraction was like bad cramps '

I had my girl last sat..so a day after you. She was 8 pound 8 and i got a 2nd degree tare. Im still a bit sore. If i go to the shops or spend too long walking around it hurts pretty bad. Ive had a couple of baths with some salt in the water, supposed to help. And my bleeding has slowed up alot the last couple days! Now we just have to learn that night time is for sleeping. Lol.

I had my baby girl on June 10. I also tore and did not get stitches as the doctor suggested that it would heal quickly. This is my 3rd baby, I also tore with my first and not the second. My daughter was 7 pound 1 oz 19 inches long at birth. I had no epidural, no IV as well. It's Been 2 weeks today and I'm feeling okay other than baby blues!

I had my baby 6/7 I also tore and got stitches for the first time...3rd baby :)
The hospital gave me a spray it's called dermoplast (pain relieving spray; burn & itch) my baby boy was 7lbs 14oz 19.5 in long not to big, but he had the umbilical cord tied around his neck and leg that made it really difficult during delivery.  I spend 3 hrs trying to get him out... No epidural tho...I just ask for a pain reliever through the Iv...
After I had my baby I couldn't even walk...my whole body was sore...I felt like a car ran over me or something..lol
I'm feeling much better now ...my baby is now 17 days...
