I'm not sure why... I think it's because the insurace pays more for the c-section :)

In a way I didn't want to go through childbirth. I know from my first daughter I was in labor for about 28 hours before they decided to do the c-section. She wouldn't come out so they decided on a c-section. It was so painful, I swore I would not have another child (I'm going on third) lol.

Silliekid06- I'm sure your doctor knows what he/she's doing. There's a reason for their decisions.

VaniDavila, did your Dr ever say why not? I heard most Drs don't want to do it because of liability issues. Research and my Doula friend said that you more of chance to get in a car accident than anything happening to you doing a vbac.

Wow! I couldn't imagine something of some sort. My mom had vbacs and my aunt also, but the problem I have is my blood thinners....I'm just scared of being cut open again after 4 years.

Nope, they won't let me. I asked with my last pregnancy and since it had been 5 years since my last c-section, they still refused. Now my daughter will only be 20 months when I have this baby and there is no way they will let me have a natural childbirth. With both my daughters I went into labor before time and with my last c-section I thought they were going to let me have a natural birth because when I got to the hospital I was already 6-7 cm but the doctor said he couldn't let me have a vbac.

I want to but my doctor said it would be a 40% chance of not going into labor on my own.I take lovenox and he doesn't want the risk of me ripping again from the previous cut...
