Vision changes??

Is anyone having vision changes? This is the first time this happens to me. So today I drove to my doctor (about 45 mins. away). I was at the mall and started to notice a spot from which I could not see (on my left eye). So I ignored it and then within a little while I started to see like a string of flashing, again in my left eye. Within a couple of minutes it started to be present in my right eye. Somehow I managed to get to my doctor's office. I did feel a little dizzy, but nothing too extreme. When I got there I told the nurse. They checked my blood pressure and it was within normal range 126/82.The doctor said not to worry about it and that it's common in late pregnancy. I was so scared, I called my mom to pick me up. Now I am so paranoid and feel as if something is wrong. Can anyone reassure me that I'll be fine? Has anyone experienced this before?

I had the flashing lights, though for me they were moving, happen to me in early pregnancy. I was on a treadmill and I got off and called my doctor. My blood pressure was a little off that week, but once it stabilized it didn't come back.

Hey Vani I found an article about vision change during pregnancy....

Is under third trimester  34 weeks of pregnancy.....
It says it's normal...you might want to read it...

I've had vision changes with this pregnancy. I was in the shower and when I got out to dry off I seen flashing spots. My apt is tomorrow so ill ask my dr.

I had something similar earlier in the pregnancy which then caused me to have a panic attack.  But it never came back and I never got any explanation of what it was. I think the main thing to worry about with vision problems is blood pressure...so if that's normal I wouldn't stress yourself out.

What scared me was that all of a sudden there was a spot where I couldn't see. Then it got worse. I started seeing a line of flashing lights. Then it got better and now I don't have it. It was just something that happened suddenly.

I already have awful eyes but my right eye seems to be even worse these last couple weeks.  I figured I will just wait until after the baby is born and go get my eyes checked again. If u r worried there is no harm in going to an optometrist for an exam.

I had vision changes with both my pregnancies...Always started in the first trimester...I noticed that my glasses started becoming stronger  and giving me headaches. I couldn't wear them sometimes...I remember reading a while ago "What to Expect When Expecting Book" and it said it was common to have vision changes...You'll be fine totally normal
