only 1 cm

I went to the docs todayy, and im only 1 cm dialated how long does the dialation last?

Ive been 5 mc dilated and 80% effaced for 3 weeks. His head is in my pelvis so I cant poo. I know tmi, but my gas is almost unbearable. I lost my mucus plug a week ago. So my dilation has lasted almost a month. Not what anyone wants to hear, but it can last however long it wants.

A lot of the time your water won't break. With my first it didn't break. With my second it was leaking but when I got to the hospital and I was changing into the gown it broke. With this last pregnancy, it didn't break. The mucous plug is the same, some women lose it weeks before and others lose it when they start having contractions. I just guess everyone is different.

yeah my doc said she cant send me to the hospital until im 4cm so i guess i gotta wait until my lil princess is ready! When do most girls loose their mucus plug, or water breaks??

Well from my expeirence when I went into my doctors office he said I was 2 cm and he sent me to the hospital to monitor the contractions. By the time he went to check up on me I was a little over 3 cm and I was getting small contractions so he decided to do my c-section. With my last pregnancy I was at 1-2 cm for a couple of weeks before I went into labor.

I was 1.5cm at last week's check up and still at 1.5cm this week :(
Doctor said sex and walk and send us home to do our homework, lol.

it took about 4 days to go in to labor after dilating 1cm...

yeah lke a lot of people say to have sex and do squats but im jst waitin on my baby to be ready i jst wish she would be ready now! Thanxs a lot tho (:

I went last Saturday 6/02 at 39 weeks and I was about 1cm I told my dr I didn't want to go over 40 weeks and he scheduled me Wednesday 6/6...
I had an ultrasound and change my due date to 6/6 I was dilated 3cm...
He said to go to the hospital and lie...say I'm feeling contractions even if I wasn't that he was gonna induced me on Wednesday 6/6 ...I waited until my husband got out from work left the house all clean but whiled cleaning the house I was feeling lots of cramps then I went to the restroom and I had a dark mucus plug "bloody show"...I knew that i wasnt gonna get induce...I went  to the hospital and they check me for dilation and I was still 3cm then in a few hour after so many contractions I kept dilating until I had my baby at 1am 6/7 only because the baby didn't want to come out...

Good luck don't get stress your time will come when your baby is ready

Yeah thats how iam im anxious to have my babygirl and i honestly am tired of bein pregnant! But i cant wait to have her, i really do hope i dialate fastt! Congratss on yur baby (:

I believe you can go from 1 to 10 really quickly. Everyones diff. We are due the same day :) Ive never been checked so i dont know what i am. But i dont feel any pressure down there :/ Kinda glad they havent checked me or id be even more anxious and waiting for something to happen. Lol.
