37 weeks and in pain

Hi, i just turned 37 weeks yesterday and ever since this afternoon i have been experiencing severe back pain in the middle and lower of my back, i tried bathing and i tried heat and ice. The pain wont go away wether i sit stand or lay. Its really making me cry and making me feel really sick. Im currently laying on my back with my legs propped up. Anyone know what the pain could be? Dont wanna go to the hospital or call the doctor if i really dont need to.

It could be because you baby turned the wron way and is facing your tummy (back to back) it is a huge cause of sudden back pain, and you laying on your back would make things worse. Hands and knees, pelvic tilt is the best position because it turns the baby around
