Baby girl finally arrived!!
My sweet baby girl made her appearance into the world a week early. Due date the 26th and she arrived very early in the morning on the 20th. She weighed 8lb 7oz. Went to the OB right after I got off 12 hour night shift at work only to learn I was contracting 3 mins apart! Was told to go home and let contractions get stronger. Took a nap and woke up 3 hours later showered then after my shower they started getting stronger. Admitted at 4pm and had her at 1:15am. And hour and half of pushing. So in love with this little girl! Now to get this breastfeeding thing down. Haha.
Thank you!! She did better with latching today. She seems to do well latching on one breast but is having a hard time latching on the other. But it'll takw practice for the two of us.
Yay! Good luck with breastfeeding. It's totally worth it. And don't be afraid to ask for help. The lactation consultants are a great resource.
